Recycling center, landfill closed Good Friday and Saturday; no city garbage pickup Friday

All Henderson County local government offices and agencies and the Henderson County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday. Delivery of emergency services will not be disrupted.

Solid Waste, including the landfill and recycling center, will be closed on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19. Animal Services will be closed on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19. The Henderson County Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday and remain closed on Friday, April 18, reopening on Saturday, April 19. All Henderson County offices and agencies will resume usual operating hours on Monday, April 21.

Hendersonville city offices also will be closed on Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday. There will be no collection of garbage, recycling and brush. Collection for Friday customers will be delayed by one week with collection resuming on Friday, April 25. For water/sewer issues occurring on holidays, call 828-891-7779.
