Valley Hill supervisors earn top training designation

Four top-ranked firefighters with Valley Hill Fire & Rescue have completed requirements for the highest level of fire officer training.
The Fire Officer IV course emphasizes management of fire protection services and covers human resource management, multi-agency emergency service delivery with horizontal/vertical communication requirements and risk management.
The four employees who are now certified as Fire Officer IV are Chief Tim Garren, Assistant Chief John Strickland, Battalion Chief Matthew Hossley and Captain Jimmy Gasperson.
Valley Hill Fire & Rescue is a full-time career fire and rescue department operating four fully staffed stations in Henderson County.
