The city of Hendersonville has invited residents to take a survey about downtown parking.
The City Council hosted a community workshop on Aug. 13 on parking in Historic Downtown Hendersonville during which some 60 people discussed parking in downtown Hendersonville and explored potential solutions.
Following the workshop, city staff developed a document that categorizes the feedback received. To refine the information the city has developed a survey built on the general categories of issues and solutions that were identified during the parking workshop. The survey, which consists of 15 questions, focuses on two topics: 1) rating the importance of the parking issues identified during the workshop and 2) determining which solutions discussed during the workshop hold the most promise.
The survey is available online and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013_hendersonville_parking_survey
or by going to the City of Hendersonville's webpage at http://www.cityofhendersonville.org/index.aspx?page=28&recordid=645&returnURL=%2findex.aspx. If you prefer, you may print the survey, complete it and return it to Lu Ann Welter, City Planning Department, 145 Fifth Ave. E., Hendersonville, NC.
The survey will close on October 1, 2013, at 5 p.m.
