Public invited to toast Marini Sunday at Playhouse
Flat Rock Playhouse patrons are invited to toast Vincent Marini and Erin Mosher on Sunday, Aug. 10.
FLAT ROCK — Flat Rock Playhouse will host a farewell celebration honoring departing Flat Rock Playhouse director Vincent Marini's artistic leadership and achievements on Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Mainstage.
"Toasting Vincent" will include toasts and comments from those who have worked with Vincent at Flat Rock Playhouse and performances from some of his favorite shows and artists. The event is free and open to the public but an RSVP is required and can be made by calling the Playhouse box office at 828.693.0731.
Marini, creative artistic director, resigned in May after leading the theater for 4½ years. He stayed on to direct "Miss Saigon," which plays until Aug. 24.
