City grants $302,000 to agencies

The Hendersonville City Council granted $302,329 in requests from non-profit agencies, schools, youth programs and economic development.

The total granted was less than half the total requests of $617,242 and above City Manager Bo Ferguson's recommendation by $30,000. Here are the organizations, amount funded in 2011-12, this year's request and (if different from the request) this year's grant.
