Forecast calls for chance of snow

It's beginning to a look a lot like a rain and snow mix, forecasters say.

Forecasters say there is chance of snow this weekend, although a quick warmup  on Sunday may ensure that any snow is shortlived.

The National Weather Service said there's a 70 percent chance of rain and snow Friday night and Saturday in Henderson County with a low Friday night of 35 and a low Saturday night of 31. After a diminished chance of snow early Sunday it should be sunny with a high of 46, the NWS said. Monday should be sunny, too, with a high of 45.

After rain this morning, things should improve. The high is expected to reach 56 after clearing. Wednesday should be mostly sunny with a high near 49 while Thursday and Friday will be partly sunny before the precipitation returns.
