Horizon Heat & Air announces monthly donations of $1,000

Nonprofits in Henderson County can receive a $1,000 grant if they're selected in a monthly program that Horizon Heating and Air Conditioning has launched.

The company said it started the $1,000 a month giveaway to nonprofits because it is "
passionate about giving back to our community."
"Each month we will choose different Henderson County non-profits to award a $1,000 donation," the company said. The online form is simple. It simply asks applicants to "describe the organization's mission or most significant activities" and asks what percentage of the nonprofit's income goes to programs.
"Thanks to community support, we outgrew our first location and expanded last year," Dan Poeta, President of Horizon Heating and Air Conditioning, said in a statement. "We project even more growth in the future and want to give back."
Henderson County not-for-profit agencies may apply by filling out the form at HorizonHeatAC.com.
