County to honor 9/11 victims

Reverence, Remembrance, Reflection is the theme of a Patriot Day program on Friday to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Emergency services personnel and the Henderson County Honor Guard will conduct the ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Historic Courthouse Square. Reverence shows respect for the sacrifice given by so many and their families. Remembrance commemorates the lessons learned. Reflection is to consider the course the nation has followed since.
