Undefeated Bandidos win regional tournament

Los Bandidos went undefeated in the regular season and won the regional tournament in the YMCA 7/8 year old basketball league this season. All 10 players on the team are students in Bruce Drysdale Elementary School's Spanish immersion program. The team finished the season with a record of 9-0, politely dominating Asheville and Western North Carolina. They played with great teamwork — passing the ball, looking for good shots, working hard for rebounds and loose balls and helping each other in games and practices. They worked hard in their practices to improve their skills and prepare for games and exhibited great focus in their games.
