Think Pink hosts island style casino night

The Pink Event is taking on a new look this year, shedding the black-tie event for an island style casino night.

Think Pink – Cancer Support is devoted to educating women and men about breast cancer prevention. It  has given survivors an opportunity to gather together to support one another, celebrate their successes and encourage each other to continue to fight for a cure.

Think Pink – Cancer Support supports cancer patients by providing gas cards, assisting with paying household bills, assisting with medical bills, and in a couple of cases have even covered funeral expenses.

The 2012 Pink Event and Casino Night is 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 28, at the Hendersonville Country Club and includes Pinktinis on the Patio, a country club cookout, silent auction and dancing with the band, Crocodile Smile. The event also includes a casino complete with game tables and a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. Tickets are $60 per person and may be purchased by calling the office at 828-808-2926.
