Seeking Garden Jubilee volunteers

Hendersonville, NC - The Hendersonville Visitor Information Center is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the Garden Jubilee Festival, held on Memorial Day weekend, May 26 & 27, set-up on May 25, in Downtown Hendersonville.

Garden Jubilee covers eight blocks of Main Street with more than 200 vendors selling arts and crafts, plants and items to enhance your outdoor living area. Local and regional nurseries will be selling 1000's of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and hard to find plants on every block of the festival.

The event draws 50,000 people to Historic Downtown Hendersonville. The positions needed include: Block Captains, Children's Tent, Hospitality Tent Host, and Set-up Crew. The duties and skill levels are quite varied.

Encourage your friends and neighbors that you think might enjoy being a part of this unique and exciting annual event to volunteer.

A Garden Jubilee volunteer training and sign-up dinner will be held on Thursday, May 10th.

Anyone interested in volunteering call the Visitors Center at 693-9708 or stop by the Visitors Information Center, 201 South Main Street, to fill-out an application.
