WHKP to air sheriff's debate

WHKP 1450 AM and 107.7 FM will air the two-hour sheriff's debate live from Blue Ridge Community College on Tuesday  beginning at 7 p.m. The station will also stream the debate on whkp.com. Incumbent Sheriff Charlie McDonald and challenger Lowell Griffin meet in the May 8 Republican primary.
