The public can learn details and the timeline for the renovation-new construction project at Hendersonville High School during an information session at 7 p.m. Thursday at the high school auditorium.
School administrators and HHS principal Bobby Wilkins scheduled the meeting so parents and other stakeholders can find out what to expect over the next three years.
"We're getting a lot of questions about a lot of different things," Wilkins said. "We'll show them the basic plan and talk about the basic time structure. It's something that's needed I think."
Associate schools superintendent John Bryant will make the presentation about the plans and the schedule. There are no plans to take questions from the audience, although Wilkins said he and others are willing to talk one-on-one with parents and others who have concerns. Some details may not be known yet.
"We don't have all the answers," he said.
The almost $60 million project got started this past summer with drainage work, a project to prepare the vocational-ed building as "swing space" during construction and other work.
