November and December Swim Lessons at the Y

November and December swim lessons at the Hendersonville Family YMCA are open for registration.

The YMCA is America’s leading and most trusted swim instructor in the world, with more than 100 years of teaching water skills and safety in a fun and caring environment that encompasses the Y’s philosophy of youth development, social responsibility and healthy living. The focus is on skill development and advancement, endurance, self-esteem, social skills, and instilling a sense of personal safety while guiding students with praise and encouragement.

Programs are designed to fit every age and skill level. Options for adult swimmers include private lessons and Masters Swim Team. The group swimmer-to-instructor ratio is a low 6:1.

Sessions are monthly and advance registration is encouraged. Financial assistance is available.
