Henderson County sheriff’s detectives charged a 41-year-old East Flat Rock man with multiple felonies after a break-in and theft at Blossman Gas and Appliance on Spartanburg Highway on Jan. 13.
Detectives say Paul Cornelius Duncan, of Nello Avenue, entered a secured fenced area of the business and stole approximately $5,000 worth of tools and equipment from two service trucks. Detectives have recovered approximately $3,500 of the $5000 of the items that were stolen. The investigation is continuing. Duncan, who was jailed under a $52,000 bond, is charged with two counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, two counts of felony theft, felony possession of stolen property and misdemeanor injury to personal property.
