Library to resume limited services

The Henderson County Public Library will resume limited services to select locations beginning today while keeping measures in place to protect the health of staff and patrons.

 

The Mills River and Green River libraries are closed until further notice. The following services will be available at the Main, Edneyville, Etowah and Fletcher libraries 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday:

  • Curbside pickup: Place items on hold through the online catalog or by calling your preferred library location. Once you are notified your items are available you may stop by your selected pick up library and your items will be delivered to your vehicle.
  • Computer access: Internet computers and printing services will be available for a 1 hour use by appointment only. Access will be available for school or job related use, including filing for unemployment, searching for work, creating a resume, and filing taxes. Please call your preferred location to make an appointment.

Additionally, the library continues to offer an array of digital services that can be accessed via the library website www.hendersoncountync.gov/library and virtual story times and programs via Facebook @HendersonCountyNCGovernment, Twitter @hendolibrary, and the Library playlist on the Henderson County, NC YouTube channel.
