Local man charged with statutory rape

After an investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual misconduct with a minor, detectives from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit have charged a 24-year-old Hendersonville man with statutory rape.

On Monday deputies arrested Adam Albert Gunari, who is charged in two bills of indictment issued by a grand jury with one felony count of statutory rape of a person 15 years old or younger and one felony count of statutory sex offense with a person 15 years old or younger. He was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $125,000 bond.
