Mezzaluna, Black Rose close after employee tests positive

Mezzaluna and the Black Rose Public House, the popular side-by-side restaurants in the 200 block of North Main
Street, have closed after an employee tested positive, the management said in a Facebook post.

 The message from the Black Rose said the restaurants from the start of the coronavirus threat had been carefully following public health guidelines such as requiring masks of its staff, recommending face coverings for diners as they moved around and keeping up with disinfecting.

"In the spirit of transparency, this invidual is asymptomic as is the rest of the staff," the post said. "We will now be closed until further notice and all the staff gets tested." The management thanked patrons for their support and concluded by saying "we can't wait to see you all soon as we safely can again."
