Hazel Karter Daniel passed from this life gently and with dignity at her home in Etowah on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 3:25 p.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel, age 87, formerly of Cullman, Ala., will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cullman at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.

Hazel is survived by a daughter, Saundra Daniel Cuyler (Dick); son, Larry Arthur Daniel (Sonya); sister, Joan Karter Pedota; sister-in-law, Eloise Daniel Meyer (Del); three granddaughters, Lindsey Karter Bosso (Ryan), Lydia Kathryn Lorang (Kenneth), and Lauren Alyssa Prosser (Aaron). She has three great grandchildren: Karter Elijah Lorang, Ava Shaw Bosso, and Natalie Brynn Bosso.
