Elsie J. Pugh, 78

Elsie J. Pugh, 78, of Hendersonville died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn.

She lived many years in Asheville before moving to Hendersonville 15 years ago. She was a great entrepreneur having owned and operated several businesses with her husband through the years. She was very involved in the community and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Pugh.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Staszak and her husband Mike; three sons, Tim Pugh, Bob Pugh and David Pugh; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the funeral home.
