Fletcher mayor leaning toward re-election bid

Fletcher mayor Bill Moore is leaning toward running for another term as mayor.
"We've got so much exciting going on in Fletcher it's kind of hard to walk off," he said.
Moore would make it two for two among Henderson County mayors to seek re-election. The mayoral terms in Flat Rock, Mills River and Laurel Park are up in 2015. Hendersonville mayor Barbara Volk said last week she plans to file for re-election.
Moore said the new Mission-Pardee medical campus, the new Town Hall and even the new dog park at Fletcher Community Park make this year one to look forward to.
"I'm proud of what the town has accomplished," he said. "It doesn't reflect too much on me but maybe I've been a part of it."
Meanwhile, among Mills River council members, Larry Freeman said he plans to run for re-election, Shanon Gonce is undecided and Lois Pryor said she is leaning against a re-election bid.
