Meet this year's Bearfootin' Bears

The Bearfootin’ Bears, the most popular photo opp for selfies, tots, sweethearts and families, are once again in place on Main Street to delight all who pass by until they’re auctioned for charity at the Historic Courthouse Plaza.

Last year’s auction raised $102,000 for local nonprofits, and the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville hopes the generosity continues in October. Two bears sidelined for repairs when we photographed the bears were Mountain Strong by Diamond Cash and BB the Blessing Bear by June Ellen Bradley. Captions include each bear’s name, sponsor, artist and beneficiary.
