Entertainment ranges from youth praise bands to Hispanic favorites and Christian rap.
The event will feature free snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn, with paid concessions also available.
According to the Rev. Bill Campbell, senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church and president of the Henderson County Ministerial Association, the event will focus on demonstrating as fully as possible the love and goodness of God.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and picnic food. To avoid scheduling conflicts, most local churches plan to cancel Sunday evening events, organizers said in a news release.
