Pardee Home Health announced this week that it is relocating to 114 College Drive in Flat Rock and launching a recruitment campaign to hire additional skilled professionals.
The Pardee Home Health agency serves a region that includes the counties of Henderson, Buncombe, Transylvania, Polk and Rutherford. The agency has experienced significant growth since 2018 in service to a predominantly senior population in need of nursing and therapy services.
As demand has grown, coupled with a nationwide medical professional shortage, the agency is competing with other regional providers for qualified staff. Pardee Home Health collaborates with physicians who prescribe a treatment plan for those patients recovering from injury, illness or surgery; assists with palliative care and end-of-life services; provides Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy for physical and cognitive and functional impairments; and also provides a variety of other skilled nursing services in the areas of diabetes management, wound care and medication and IV management.
