What do you do in your volunteer job?

Supposedly, eligibility. I go there Fridays from 9 to 12. Now, I do a lot of paperwork, recycling things, shredding things. I just keep busy that way, just little things.

How long have you been volunteering?

I’ve been there since 2008.

Why do you volunteer?

It gets me out of the house. I feel like it’s a real need. There are so many people without medical insurance. I tell people that is what we are there for.

What’s the best thing about volunteering?

You get to meet the most interesting people. God is in charge and that’s the thing he wants me to do. So, I do it.

If someone is interested in volunteering, what advice would you give based on your own experience?
