A 60-year-old Hendersonville man was jailed on a $2 million bond after Henderson County sheriff's deputies seized 1.8 pounds of meth after making a traffic stop on Hendersonville on Sunday.
Officers were on routine patrol when they stopped a vehicle for various equipment violations. As a result of a subsequent search of the vehicle, its contents and the occupants, deputies seized approximately 1.8 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, approximately one gram of heroin/fentanyl, $4,515 in cash and a handgun. The Sheriff’s Office’s K-9 and Drug Enforcement Unit assisted in the investigation.
Thomas Benjamin Seigler was arrested and charged with one felony count each of possession of methamphetamine; possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver methamphetamine; trafficking in methamphetamine; possession of a schedule I controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of firearm by felon. He was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Facility under a $2,072,000 bond.
