City to celebrate 175th anniversary with May 22 party

The city of Hendersonville is celebrating its 175th anniversary with a public birthday party in May.

City departments and local organizations will commemorate the 175th by highlighting the history and people who have contributed to the vibrant past and exciting future of the City of Four Seasons. The celebration is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Historic Courthouse Plaza.
