Two Hendersonville men were being held Tuesday in Henderson County’s jail under high bonds after officers charged them with numerous drug-related offenses.
The men, 24-year-old Trayvon Rasheen Downs and 41-year-old Ronald Lee Peak, were arrested on Sept. 8 after the Henderson County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 706 White Sparrow Dr. in Hendersonville, according to a press release from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department.
Detectives located Downs and Peak in the home along with 23.7 grams of Fentanyl, 2.7 grams of crack cocaine, one pistol, and $16,260.00 in cash, according to the press release.
Peak is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center under a $540,000.00 secured bond.
Downs is being held in the detention center under a $400,000.00 secured bond.
Peak was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance x2, Felony Trafficking in Opium/Heroin, Felony Sell/Distribute a Controlled Substances within 1000 feet of a school, Felony Maintain a Dwelling to Sell/Distribute Controlled Substances, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Downs was charged with Felony Maintain a Dwelling to Sell/Distribute Controlled Substances, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Trafficking in Heroin/Opium, Felony Sell/Distribute a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a school, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felony Possess Controlled Substance in Prison/Jail.
Hendersonville Police Department, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team assisted in the operation.
