Sheriff's office identifies victim in fire fatality

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Arson Task Force is continuing its investigation into the cause of a house fire on Tuesday that resulted in the death of a 62-year-old woman.

The Henderson County Fire Marshal’s Office and the Mountain Home Fire & Rescue called arson investigators at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday after the fire at 560 Mountain Road. The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Mary Lou Nickelson Degraw of Hendersonville. The investigation is currently ongoing and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
