Apple Festival offers booths for non-profits

The North Carolina Apple Festival is accepting applications from non-profit organizations to participate in this year's Street Fair.

Each year, the Festival sets aside 10 percent of its total booth spaces for non-profit organizations. Non-profits must be headquartered in Henderson County with the majority of any money raised spent in the community.
Organizations interested in participating in the 2013 North Carolina Apple Festival may visit www.ncapplefestival.org and click on "Street Fair" and then on "Non-Profits" to download a Non-Profit Interest Form. The form must be mailed to the Apple Festival office no later than April 1.
Since the festival annually receives more applications than it has spaces, organizations are selected through a lottery. Successful organizations will be notified by the end of April. The cost is $100 for just providing information to our attendees or $200 to sell merchandise, tickets or other items.
