City theater serves up 'My Big Fat Italian Wedding Murder'

Hendersonville Theatre serves up a night of intrigue, laughter, and delicious Italian cuisine when it presents My Big Fat Italian Wedding Murder Saturday and Sunday.

Created and directed by the acclaimed Broadway actor Jimmy Ferraro and playwright David Craven, the interactive musical extravaganza will have you on the edge of your seat as you try to unravel the mystery of the evening.

Guests will be treated to a sumptuous four-course Italian dinner, including caprese skewers, Caesar salad, baked ziti with sausage and beef, and dessert. As the story unfolds, audience members can participate in the investigation, competing against each other to crack the case.

The cast includes Tate Albert as Luciano (the father of the bride), Jonathan Forrester as Johnny (the best man), Victoria Lamberth as Roxy (the groom's ex-girlfriend), Beth Norris as Nonny (the bride's grandmother), Dee Etta Rowe as Carmella (the mother of the bride), Allison Starling as Angel (the bride), Charlie Wilson as Father James and Jennifer Russ as Tina (the maid of honor).

Tickets, which include a four-course Italian dinner and show, are $75 and are available at HVLtheatre.org or by calling 828-692-1082. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10 percent discount. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 18, and 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19. Hendersonville Theatre is at 229 S. Washington St.
