Talk reveals 'Little Known Tales of Saluda and the Grade'

James Metcalf,a resident of the Fork Creek community of Saluda, will present “Little Known Tales of Saluda and the Grade” during Saluda Train Tales at 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Saluda Historic Depot and Museum.

A board member of the Polk County Historical Association for many years, Metcalf is also chief docent at the Polk County Historical Museum in Columbus. He has been a local radio announcer for 20 years, currently at WWQT 1160, and is a musician and songwriter and music director of Fork Creek Baptist Church. The program is free.
