Men's Club invites all Republican candidates to speak on Sept. 14

The Henderson County Republican Men’s Club is inviting all Republican candidates on the Nov. 5 ballot to appear at its next meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at American Legion Post 77, 216 Fourth Ave. W.

All candidates will be given an equal opportunity to speak. Candidates may bring yard signs, campaign literature and contribution envelopes. 

The Aug. 8 Men’s Club meeting drew 70 highly motivated and dedicated Republicans, and organizers anticipate an even larger turnout for the Sept. 14 all-candidates event.

The Men’s Club meets the second Saturday of each month at the American Legion post. Membership is open to all registered Republicans. A breakfast buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit, cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee is available for $13 cash at the door.
