U.S. Rep. Chuck Edwards has announced a dedicated phone number, 223-FIX-FEMA, to help Western North Carolinians with issues regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency following Hurricane Helene.
“Western North Carolinians who need help with or are having issues with FEMA should call 223-FIX-FEMA, and my office can engage with the agency directly on behalf of your application," Edwards said. "Likewise, if you know of anyone living in a tent, needing shelter, or are otherwise unhoused from Hurricane Helene, please call 223-FIX-FEMA and let us know where they are so we can help.”
Edwards also announced that his staff will be available from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the VFW building and Henderson County Veterans Services office at Five Points, 900 N. Main St.
