The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for residents to check their security cameras for any signs of shots fired into a home in the River Stone subdivision on Butler Bridge Road.
The county 911 center received multiple calls reporting gunshots in the neighborhood around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. Patrol Division deputies responding to calls ascertained that a home on West Hiawassee Road had been struck by gunfire.
The sheriff’s office asked residents of River Stone to review their security cameras for any suspicious activity between the hours of 11 and 11:45 p.m. on March 19. Those with possibly useful video surveillance were asked to send the footage to Public Information Officer Stephanie Barbosa at sbarbosa@hendersoncountync.gov. Anyone with information may contact the sheriff’s office or use the “Submit a Tip” feature available its mobile app.
