Etowah Valley voters switch precincts for town election

MILLS RIVER — Mills River voters who usually vote at Etowah library will vote at Mills River United Methodist Church during the Nov. 5 municipal election.

About 200 Etowah Valley precinct voters are affected by the change, which is routinely made for the Mills River election. The Henderson County Elections Board has notified the voters of the change for the general election, Mayor Roger Snyder said during last week Mills River Town Council meeting.
Candidates in the Nov. 4 election are Larry Freeman in District 1, and James Cantrell and Billy Johnston in District 2, and Shanon Gonce in District 3.
