County to hold free drive-thru covid test Saturday

The Henderson County Health Department will hold a covid-19 drive-thru testing site for the public on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Health Department, 1200 Spartanburg Highway, Suite 100.

As with the county's prior community testing sites, the event is free to the public and all are welcome while supplies last. The logistics of the event are still in the works. The health department will announce details of the process later this week.

Since this will be a drive-thru testing event health officials are requesting attendees come with their screening form filled out prior to arrival. The printable form can be found on our main COVID-19 website below the dashboard in English here and in Spanish here.
