Here's the lineup for National Day of Prayer at courthouse

Ministers, first responders and others will offer prayers during a National Day of Prayer observance from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Historic Courthouse plaza.
Designated by Congress in 1952, the observance urges people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” The event is sponsored by the Carolina Baptist Association and Henderson County Ministerial Association. Here is the lineup:
- Welcome - Currie Tilley, Associational Mission Strategist, Carolina Baptist Association
- Presentation of Colors - North Henderson High School JROTC, Master Sgt. Michael
Jensen, AFJROTC Instructor
- Special Music, “National Anthem” - Selah Grace Henderson
- Pledges to the American flag, Christian flag, and Bible - Cody Jackson, Youth Minister, Etowah Baptist
- Flag Folding Ceremony - North Henderson High School JROTC, Master Sgt. Michael Jensen, AFJROTC instructor
- Government - The Rev. Brad Knox, Pastor at Crab Creek Baptist Church
- First Responders/Public Servants - Maj. Frank Stout, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office
