County to commemorate Sept. 11 with Reverence, Remembrance and Reflection

Henderson County will conduct a ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Sarturday at the Historic Courthouse Plaza to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Reverence, Remembrance, Reflection will be the central theme of the program: Reverence to show respect for the sacrifice given by so many and their families, Remembrance to commemorate the lessons learned, and Reflection to consider the course the nation has followed since. Patriot Day is a day for all Americans to come together in unity in recognition of their common bond as Americans. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
