Reverence, Remembrance and Reflection ceremony commemorates 9/11

Henderson County will conduct a brief ceremony at 9 a.m. today on the Historic Courthouse Square to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001. 

Reverence, Remembrance and Reflection will be the central theme of the program.  Reverence to show respect for the sacrifice given by so many and their families, Remembrance to commemorate the lessons learned, and Reflection to consider the course we have followed since. Patriot Day is a day for all Americans to come together in unity in recognition of our common bond as Americans. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to join us.
