Joint partnership announces grants totaling $48,000

In its sixth year of providing support for local nonprofits, the Horizon Heating and Air Conditioning Charitable Giving Program announced 2022 grant recipients.

Horizon Heating & Air, Hannah Flanagan’s, Southern Alarm & Security and Trane are partnering once again to provide $48,000 in grants for 28 nonprofits and charitable programs.
“We are fortunate to be able to give back to local organizations that are carrying out essential charitable services and programs,” says Horizon Heating & Air owner Dan Poeta. “Horizon, Hannah’s, Southern Alarm and Trane are proud and excited to support the communities that have so graciously supported our own businesses over the years.”
Quarterly grants have been awarded to the following organizations:

• 1st Quarter: Blue Ridge Community Health Services Inc., Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Helping Hand Development Center, The Free Clinics, Thrive, True Ridge and Vocational Solutions.
• 2nd Quarter: Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County, Camplify, Council on Aging for Henderson County, Donnie Jones's Special Needs Sports, St. Gerard House and the Economic Fund of Henderson County (Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development).
• 3rd Quarter: Back on Track Addiction Ministries, Bullington Gardens Inc., First United Methodist Backpack Ministry, Historic Johnson Farm Foundation, Hope Coalition, Kenmure Fights Cancer and Saluda Pop-up Pantry.
• 4th Quarter; Apple Country Woodcrafters, Children and Family Resource Center, Crossnore Communities, Housing Assistance Corp., Sentinel Patriot Club (Stand TALL) and STEAP Inc.
