A developer is seeking approval from the city of Hendersonville to build a multifamily project of 207 units on nine acres of flat vacant land on Greenville Highway across from the Dollar Tree shopping center.
Matthew Benak of Crest Residential LLC, the applicant, and property owner South Market LLC are seeking a change from the current Planned Commercial Development zoning to Urban Residential Conditional Zoning District.
The three parcels that make up the nine-acre site are valued on the tax books at $2.5 million. City planners will hold a neighborhood compatibility meeting on the projectat 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at the City Operations Center, 305 Williams St.
