A company that is considering locating in Henderson County would make a $19.6 million investment in plant construction and equipment and bring 54 new jobs paying an average wage of $41,693, according to a public hearing notice for an economic incentives request.
Code-named Project Brighter Day, the company would received up to $77,168 in a property tax refund in the first year it was eligible and up to $381.161 over five years, the notice said. The Henderson County Board of Commissioners will consider the request after a public hearing on Monday. The breakdown of its potential investment was $18.5 million in construction, not counting land costs, and $1.1 million in equipment. The public hearing notice did not give a location or provide other details about the nature of the industrial prospect.
