Cheri Beasley to attend Democratic Women luncheon

Congressional candidate Jasmine Beach-Ferrera will be keynote speaker and U.S. Senate candidate Cheri Beasley will attend the annual luncheon of the Democratic Women of Henderson County as a special guest on Wednesday, the organization announced.

The theme of this year’s luncheon is Rising Above.

The buffet luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Grand Ole Hall at Highland Lake Inn and Resort. It will include a silent auction, gift grab bags and a 50-50 raffle to raise funds to get out the vote for Democratic candidates.
