The city's first post-Covid parade is coming to downtown Hendersonville.
The Hendersonville Business and Merchants Association announced that is bringing back the Fourth of July Independence Day Parade, to be held this year on Saturday, July 3, on Main Street. Lineup is at 9:30 a.m. on the north end of North Main Street. Thje entry fee is $10. Everything from professional floats to home-made decorations on jalopies is accepted. Entry deadline is June 28.
"This is a family event where we ask neighbors to come out with anything they have decorated in red white & blue — a vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, horses, dogs or even the family goat, which we had once!" organizers said.
