Deep-freeze with below-zero wind chill coming tonight

A deep freeze tonight through midweek will drop temperatures into the single digits with wind chills below zero, the National Weather Service says.
After a high near 45 today and wind gusts up to 32 mph, we won't see the 30s again until Thursday. After a low of 9 degrees Sunday night, the high Monday — Martin Luther King Jr. Day — is expected to reach only 22. The forecast calls for overnight lows of 11 Monday night, 9 Tuesday night and 13 Wednesday night with daytime highs remaining in the 20s through Wednesday. Windchill lows could be 7 below zero Monday and -2 on Wednesday, the NWS said.

Winds will become gusty Sunday during the day on Sunday, with the strongest gusts expected Sunday night and early Monday. Thursday should warm up above freezing for the first time, with a high of 35 under sunny skies.
